NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The purpose of establishing this National Service Scheme at VCSM campus is to create strong social awareness among the students, imparts personality development to its members through study & work in the campus. It is also aimed at developing student's personality through community service. NSS unit of VCSM is a voluntary association of young students working for a campus-community linkage.

The National Service Scheme of the College has two units with 200 active student volunteers working for the social, economic and educational welfare of society.

ACTIVITIES:

• Organizing special camp at nearby villages annually.
• Conducting rallies on important days such as National Pollution Day, World Earth Day, etc
• Conducting awareness programmes on Breast Cancer, AIDS HIV, Menstrual and etc.
• Planting Tree saplings in the nearby localities in association with local bodies.
• Organizing free Eye Screen Camp for the benefit of near village people
• Conducting Swachh Bharat Mission activities in the near locality
