SOCIAL MEDIA CLUB (SMC)
     
    
      The Valluvar Social Media Club is dedicated to enhancing our college's online presence and fostering creativity among students. By engaging in various media-related activities, the club aims to empower students with skills in photography, videography, poster designing and social media marketing, while also promoting departmental events and achievements.
 To the Students 
      
        - Capture photos and videos during departmental events.
 
        - Edit photos and videos for social media sharing.
 
        - Maintain communication with classmates regarding: WhatsApp status updates, Following, Liking, Sharing, Commenting and Subscribing to social media accounts and also the Google Review Ratings for events and departments.
 
        - Coordinate with department in-charges for event coverage.
 
        - Collaborate with club in-charges for club activities.
 
        - Design posters, brochures and invitations for events.
 
    
 To the Staff In-charges of the Department 
   - Create and design posters, brochures and invitations for departmental activities.
 
        - Edit photos and videos taken during events.
 
        - Document events through photography and videography.
 
        - Engage with staff members by : Updating WhatsApp status, Encouraging social media interaction (follow, like, share, comment, subscribe) & Requesting Google Review Ratings.
 
        - Inform club in-charges about upcoming departmental events.
 
        - Assist in coordinating with students for various activities.
 
    
 To the Club In-charge Staff Members 
  - Conduct regular follow-ups with faculty and students regarding social media updates.
 
        - Prepare newsletters to share club activities and updates.
 
        - Develop strategic plans for effective social media marketing.
 
        - Focus on increasing Google reviews for the club and departments.
 
        - Organize regular activities and meetings for club members.
 
	- Review and analyze social media activities and engagement.
 
	- Maintain minutes of club meetings for future reference.
 
	- Keep an updated list of department in-charges and student members.
