Anti-Ragging Committee

Ragging is an offensive act which makes the students unruly. To prevent ragging, the institution established Anti-Ragging Committee in the year 2008 and assures ragging free campus by enforcing laws and regulations. Any behavior like teasing, ill-treating, handling with offensiveness by any student or a group of students towards any student should be punished. The Committee is strong-minded to provide the safe environment to the students, so it often conducts meetings to create awareness on the perils of ragging. The students can send his / her complaints regarding ragging to the committee coordinator in person and it will be resolved within a particular time. The chairman of the committee monitors all the complaints and confirms they are resolved.

Objectives:

  • To inculcate a culture of Ragging Free Environment in the campus.
  • To ensure congregation among students in places like Hostels, Buses, Canteens and in Classrooms.
  • To implement and coordinate anti-ragging measures.
  • To take cognizance of any breach of discipline and suggest immediate disciplinary action in such cases.
  • To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.
