Alumni Association serves as a liaison between the Institute and alumni and works relentlessly to foster positive and productive Institute-Alumni relationships. It was started in the year 2007and it continues with the aim of strengthening the ties between the college and the alumni. Alumni would combine academic experiences and career development so that recent graduates would be encouraged to take initiative to meet the present problems in the competitive corporate world. With this idea in mind the committee encourages its brand ambassadors to hold various interactive sessions on multiple themes ranging from career counselling to placements. Many of the alumni of VCSM are in good positions in the Government and top organizations in the Country and across the world. Some of them come forward on a regular basis to meet the students and offer career counseling and advice.

Our alumni Mr. R. Arunkumar, explained about the newly introduced Goods and Services Tax (GST) system in the country and the role of Tally software in learning GST completely. He interacted with the students about the need for and expectations of banks and companies.

She interacted with the students about the need for and expectations of banks during the interview. She also advised students to improve their aptitude and mathematical proficiency, which will help them achieve their dream of getting a job in a leading bank.

She focussed towards the importance of learning new emerging software PYTHON. She motivated the students the way to learn on their own without going to software centres. She gave a website address to the students for learning PYTHON being at the comfort of home. She highlighted the importance of PYTHON and places right it is used and potential industries will be used in the near future.
K. Suresh, Alumni, B.Com CA (2014-17) The purpose of the talk was to encourage the students to take up Data Analytics field in the future, as emerging field that will rule the world in the future. He learnt Data Analysis tools out of his passion and doing as a freelancer data analytics apart from working with City Union Bank. He makes a point that the future of job market lies in Data Analytics
P. Damodharan, Alumni, B.Com (2014-17) Being a Commerce Graduate, the alumni motivated the students of Commerce the emerging and need of Chartered Accountants for the businesses. He gave awareness about CA, CMA, ICWA and CS courses. He insisted that he had completed the 2nd level of CMA Exam and he motivated them to get more training in auditing, accounting and income tax. He also pointed that CA is a world of fascinating professional in every industry of business and finance, both in India and around the world.

Miss. P. Monisha stressed the importance of spoken English to face the interview with confidence. The art of good spoken English will arrive to any individual on regular practice. She told the students about the importance of fluency in English to sustain their job and moving ahead in career to the next level.
