The Gender Champion Club (GCC) at Valluvar College of Science and Management was inaugurated on August 11, 2023, with the mission of promoting gender equality, inclusivity and social awareness among the college community. By providing an integrated, interdisciplinary approach, the club seeks to enhance understanding of the social and cultural constructs of gender that influence the roles, behaviors and opportunities of individuals across society. The club actively engages students and staff in meaningful discussions, workshops and activities to empower everyone to challenge stereotypes, break down biases and foster a supportive environment for all genders.
